YOU CAN BE SAVED AND KNOW IT.

Many people choose to ignore or will get offended by the subject of their souls fate once they die. However a person who is truly good will not because they realize their concerns rest upon the promises of their Saviour.

Those who have been given a new heart and soul by the faith of Christ; are promised in His Word a place in heaven when they die.

Many people believe that God will accept their faith, but sadly this will not be the case on judgement day when the final victory of good over evil occurs.

There are literally hundreds of denominations that call themselves Christians and thousands of different religions; but unless one has the faith of Christ from the foundation of the world, their religion is in vain:

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel" - 2 Timothy 1:7-10.

An individual can discriminate if in fact their faith is their own or the saving faith of Christ by the fruits they bear in their life. Is there a sincere desire in one's life for doing God's will?

"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him." - 1 John 2:3-5.

Only by examining ourselves under the light which is God's holy Word, the Bible, can one know if they are going to heaven:

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." - 1 John 5:13.

"These things" refer to the whole Bible. The greatest evidences of salvation being an ongoing desire to keep our LORD's commandments and love our neighbor.

"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me." - John 14:21-24.

Read your Bible as often as possible. Through the saving grace in His Word, God gives His people the strength to obey Him. Finally, do not neglect the fact that there are others in Christ who seek fellowship, encouraging one another and witnessing the gospel to one another as part of the eternal church which is the body of the LORD Jesus Christ, they may be hard to find, but keep reading the holy Bible and searching for fellow saints to exhort.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:8-10.

"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." - Galatians 2:16.

"The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is." - Revelation 17:8.
