Today we look at a proverb that shows the LORD often works in little ways to accomplish His will. It is clearly evident from all the false doctrines in the world that often truth does not come in large numbers. Jesus told us that: many would be called but few chosen. How sweet it is to be among the few who truly fear our LORD in this evil age:
"A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied." (Psalm 37:16-19).
Dear Friend, do not look to the crowds for truth, but to Jesus the Word who is God. Christ has the answer to our troubled lives. Fear and tremble before Him today, seek Him while today is stull the day of salvation; lift Him up in your life and He shall lift you up. Quietly wait upon our LORD:
"Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit." (Ecclesiastes 4:6).
